My love affair with German shepherds1 started as a child, being raised with shepherds1 all my life. It was renewed in 1989 upon starting college when I felt the need to have my own companion/protection dog to take with me. It took me a very long time to find what I considered a good quality shepherd. It took several months, in fact, of constant searching before I found the ideal puppy…..Dakota.

Cody stayed with me until this July of this year. I lost him at the age of 14 years. Until the time of his death he remained a vibrant part of my household. When I went on vacation, Cody went on vacation. It has been hard losing him.

Several people, after having met Dakota, encouraged me to raise a litter of puppies. I was not opposed to the idea, and went about finding a suitable female. Again, I had much difficulty. I finally found her in Dalton, GA, and she has since become my foundation bitch. She is out of police lines and turned out to be an excellent female. After the first litter of pups, the demand for my puppies grew. From there, we became….. Sequoyah German shepherds
