Pax is an outgoing, people-oriented 9-month-sable German Shepherd with an excellent health foundation and a natural desire to work for attention and praise.
Both parents are OFA Excellent with PennHip scores in the top 15-20% of the breed. They also have been Embark tested and are clear of German Shepherd-specific genetic issues, including degenerative myelopathy (DM).
Pax already has a solid start on obedience (Place, Sit, Down, Here) and is currently working on leash manners and off-leash reliability. Pax is very social and confident with people. He is friendly and outgoing rather than sharp, while still showing the awareness and drive that make him a strong candidate for a family alert/ family protection role.
He would do well in an active home that wants a versatile dog: One who lives in the house, works when asked, and naturally watches over his people.
